Cool and creamy ranch dip is healthier with 0% fat plain Greek yogurt or use fat-free or low-fat sour cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt (0% fat, plain try FAGE brand it's nice & thick)
  • 2 tablespoons Boiling Water
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (freeze-dried)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt

Note

Make this with 0% fat plain Greek yogurt for the healthiest option, or use fat-free or low-fat sour cream instead

Directions

Step 1.
Mix boiling water and dried onions in medium size bowl and let cool.
Step 2.
Mix in 0% fat plain Greek yogurt or fat-free or low-fat sour cream.
Step 3.
Add garlic powder, salt, and dried chives, and mix well.
Step 4.
Transfer to small serving bowl, garnish with chives or chopped parsley.
Step 5.
Keep refrigerated until serving.
Step 6.
Cut-up a variety of your favorite fresh and/or lightly steamed vegetables and arrange on plate with serving bowl of ranch dip.
Step 7.
NOTE: for ranch salad dressing add 2T of milk or nut milk like unsweetened almond or coconut milk and mix well. If dressing is too thick add additional milk.
