Cool and creamy ranch dip is healthier with 0% fat plain Greek yogurt or use fat-free or low-fat sour cream.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt (0% fat, plain try FAGE brand it's nice & thick)
- 2 tablespoons Boiling Water
- 1 tablespoon Dried Onions
- 2 tablespoons Chives (freeze-dried)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt
Note
Make this with 0% fat plain Greek yogurt for the healthiest option, or use fat-free or low-fat sour cream instead
Directions
Step 1. | |
Mix boiling water and dried onions in medium size bowl and let cool. | |

Mix in 0% fat plain Greek yogurt or fat-free or low-fat sour cream. | |
Step 3. | |
Add garlic powder, salt, and dried chives, and mix well. | |
Step 4. | |
Transfer to small serving bowl, garnish with chives or chopped parsley. | |
Step 5. | |
Keep refrigerated until serving. | |
Step 6. | |
Cut-up a variety of your favorite fresh and/or lightly steamed vegetables and arrange on plate with serving bowl of ranch dip. | |

NOTE: for ranch salad dressing add 2T of milk or nut milk like unsweetened almond or coconut milk and mix well. If dressing is too thick add additional milk. |
