Easy Hamburger Patty Recipes

Easy Hamburger Patty Recipes. Spicy Meatball Ground Beef Patties pack more flavor than ordinary burgers. Start with grass-fed beef for low calorie burgers.

  1. DAIRY-FREE OPTION – omit the cheese.
  2. GLUTEN-FREE OPTION - use a gluten-free bun.  Or see Paleo Diet option below
  3. PALEO DIET OPTION - omit cheese and bun. Start with a thick tomato slice. Add avocado. Then the burger. Top with another tomato slice and lettuce. Optional top with sautéed fresh mushrooms. Instead of second tomato slice.

SPICY MEATBALL BURGER

INGREDEINTS

  • Extra-lean Grass-fed Beef, about a pound, *see below
  • Optional – Mozzarella, Provolone, or other sliced Cheese
  • Optional – Sprouted Grain Buns, Stone-Ground Whole Wheat Buns, or Gluten-free Buns
  • 1/2t Fennel Seeds
  • 1T Fresh Oregano or 1t dried
  • 1T Fresh Basil or 1t dried
  • 1T Fresh Rosemary or 1t dried
  • 1T Fresh Italian Parsley omit if using dried herbs
  • 1 Garlic clove, fresh pressed or 1t Garlic Powder or Flakes
  • 1/4t Chipotle pepper or fresh ground black pepper
  • Optional—1/2t to 1t Red Pepper Flakes
  • Burger fixins’—lots of fresh veggies…romaine lettuce leaves, tomatoes, onions, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, pickles, banana peppers – sliced, etc.

DIRECTIONS: heat up the grill. Or use your broiler. In a large bowl, mix ground beef and fresh herbs.  You can also use dried herbs. But burgers taste better with fresh herbs. For super spicy burgers. Add red pepper flakes.  For milder burgers. Omit red pepper flakes. Mix well.  Form burger into 3 or 4 patties.  Place patties on hot grill. Cook up to 5 minutes. Or longer on each side. Depending on how well done you want burgers. If using cheese. Add one slice on top of each patty. When burger is almost done. For warm buns. Place halves of buns on grill. With the inside of the bun down. For a few minutes. Just before burgers are done cooking. Or wrap individual buns in foil. Put in pre-heated 350 degree oven. Heat 10 to 15 minutes.
