Watermelon Smoothie Recipe ahhhh, so easy, so good. Fresh watermelon, juicy, ripe red strawberries & unsweetened almond milk blended into yummy perfection.
Watermelon Smoothie Recipe
INGREDIENTS = please use organic ingredients
- 2C Watermelon, diced or cubed
- 1-10 oz. Package Frozen Strawberries
- 1/2C Coconut Water
- OR
- 1/2C Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk, at 45 calories per cup or less
- 1/4C Slivered Almonds, *see note
- OR
- 3T Hemp Hearts {Hemp Seeds}
- Optional – 1 or 2 fresh Thai Basil {Holy Basil} Leaves or Mint Leaves
- Optional – Small Wedge of Fresh Watermelon + a sprig of Thai Basil or Mint, as garnish
DIRECTIONS – add all ingredients to blender, except for garnish. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into Mason jar or glass. Optional – garnish with a wedge of fresh watermelon and a sprig of Thai Basil or mint.
*NOTE - if you don’t have a high powered blender, try soaking the almonds in the coconut water or nut milk for at least an hour before blending. This will give you a smoother, smoothie. Or use 2T Almond Butter {100% nut butter, nothing added like Artisana Brand}.
