What makes Hemp a Super Food?
Hemp is one of the oldest cultivated crops. Hemp seeds, hearts, protein, and oil do not contain THC, the main psychoactive ingredient of Cannabis sativa {marijuana plant} and won’t make you “high”. Hemp hearts are made by scoring and removing the hard outer shell of the hemp seed for better absorption. Hemp contains a rich concentration of essential fatty acids, a whopping 80%…the highest of any plant. The beneficial fatty acids in hemp are in the perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 for the human body. Hemp is a complete protein containing all 9 essential amino acids. It is packed with fiber, antioxidants, and chlorophyll. It also contains Vitamin E, and minerals like magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium. Isolate protein powders like whey and soy are processed and contain little or no fiber.
Navitas Naturals Hemp Protein Powder is made from 100% raw and viable non-GMO hemp seeds using a cold-press and cold-milling process. This keeps all of the enzymes, minerals, vitamins and micronutrients contained in the hemp seeds, intact. Check it out…
